Highlights of BA's Abilities Awareness Week

Last week Brittan Acres celebrated Abilities Awareness week. The primary focus of this initiative was to raise awareness and to work to build a world of inclusion. Although this is a constant frame of mind that Brittan Acres promotes, new events to increase acceptance and raise awareness continue to be organized by our San Carlos Special Education District Advisory Committee (SEDAC) every year.

My Digital Tat2 Presentation

Gloria Moskowitz-Sweet, founder of My Digital Tat2, gave a presentation Tuesday, Dec. 4 on the latest research about navigating the digital world with our kids. Attached are brief notes from the event. Gloria also shared her article, Raising Consciously Connected Youth which is also attached.
