Your donation to the nonprofit, parent-led San Carlos Education Foundation (SCEF) helps your school offer a well-rounded education for every child, every day in every classroom by enabling the district to hire additional educators and provide programs not possible with public funding alone.
In addition, SCEF provides an annual grant to the Brittan Acres PTA for supplies and materials, events, library books, DEIB and cultural activities, assemblies and more organized and managed by your volunteer PTA board.

San Carlos Education Foundation - 40 years of community support. To maintain strong public schools in San Carlos, the local community provides financial support through the nonprofit San Carlos Education Foundation. SCEF provides supplemental funding to support mental health, technology, music, PE, electives, libraries and more. These donations are vital to the district’s ability to provide a well-rounded education for all students. Donations to SCEF make up nearly 6% of the district’s annual budget. PTA - positively impacting the lives of children and families. Strengthen our voice for all children by joining your school PTA. PTA volunteers manage community events, assemblies, art and enrichment programs, staff appreciation activities, teacher/classroom grants and advocate for students.
