Superintendent Coronavirus (COVID-19) Updates

With guidance from our School Board, based on learning that the San Mateo County Health Department Officer Dr. Scott Morrow has issued an order to dismiss students in San Mateo County from regular attendance at school from March 16 - April 3, 2020 we will move to a distance learning model beginning on Monday, March 16, as anticipated. In-person classes are suspended as of March 16. All school-run events and activities are cancelled indefinitely including after school sports.

Update from Principal Fast

As we all begin to process this disruption to our daily routines, I hope you find comfort in the small, sometimes overlooked, fortunes we have in our lives. This is a rare opportunity to spend time with our families that we would not, in other circumstances, be able to have. Though we may be feeling stress and anxiety, it is important to help our children process this change as well.

Pajama Drive

Help all children get a good night’s sleep. Donate new or clean, gently used children’s pajamas, new children’s socks, toothpaste and/or toothbrushes through Monday, March 16th. Donations will go to the Samaritan House where they lead the fight against poverty in San Mateo.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is a great way to build community while supporting our students. There are a lot of options - some bigger and some smaller - some during school hours and many that can be done from home. We have multiple one time events this month which could use your help too: the Science Festival, Ability Awareness Week and at the Book Fair!

BA Movie Night- Friday, January 24- 6:30 pm

Toy Story 4 will be playing at the BA movie night on Friday, January 24th. Please note the updated start time is now 6:30pm! This fun event allows families to enjoy a movie and snacks together in the BA MU. Bring sleeping bags, pillows and water bottles for a comfortable movie watching experience. Please note, this is not a drop-off event.
