Afterschool & Extended Learning Programs

The San Carlos School District partners with several different providers for before and after school care. Below is some useful information with links to these organizations for a deeper knowledge and understanding of the programs and times being offered.

Transitional Kindergarten Extended Learning Program (TKELP)
A new extended learning program developed just for TK students and in collaboration with our SCSD Preschool Program, is being offered to families that would like to enroll their child. More information about the program can be found by clicking on the link below.

Child Care Programs (ACE & SB After School)
In addition to the TK Extended Learning Program, there are additional choices for on-campus childcare if your schedule requires an earlier drop-off or later pick-up. Please refer to the websites listed below for more information and reach out to these providers for more information.

Extended Learning Program Assistance Available
We have additional opportunities for students to participate in our Extended Learning Programs, both before and after school. If you believe your child would benefit from attending one of our before or afterschool programs, grant funding is available to help pay for tuition for qualifying families. Please reach out to Jesse Torres, Program Supervisor, through email at [email protected] for more information.
