The BA holiday boutique will be open for holiday shopping THIS FRIDAY afternoon and SATURDAY morning in the Brittan Acres Multi-Use Room. This annual tradition, hosted by our PTA, allows our students to experience the joy of shopping independently (or with a big kid helper) and choosing gifts for their loved ones. All gift items are hand crafted or assembled by our BA community - here’s a peek at some of the creations that will be for sale
Tomorrow, your child will be bringing home a blue flyer with a budget envelope. Take some time to help your child make a list of recipients and allot a budget for each person (all gifts are priced between $1-$5!). On Friday, we encourage younger students and those who can’t make it on Saturday to attend. On Saturday, the boutique is open to only students from 9-11am. While the students shop, parents and siblings are invited to purchase some holiday bites from our Bruin Cafe or to shop our Scholastic Book Fair also located in the MU. At 11, the boutique will open to parents and the community to shop.
There are still volunteer spots available. Please consider helping to ensure this year’s event is a great success. Here's how you and your family can participate:
· Volunteer in the Boutique (set-up, cashier, gift wrapper, shopper helper, etc.)
· 4th grade and older? Volunteer to be a Big Kid Helper at the Saturday sale.
· Like to bake? Contribute something yummy for the Bruin Café.
