This year you can expect from us a focus on building connection and community. We are collaborating closely with PTAs across the district to gather great ideas; with SCEF to ensure that, between both of our organizations, we are meeting as many needs as possible; and with our wonderful Principal Fast to fully support and engage this community. You will hear much more from us soon about things like:
- Volunteering in your child’s classroom or in a school-wide role
- Becoming a PTA member to ensure your voice is heard
- Fundraising for both our PTA and SCEF during our joint #TeamKids campaign
- And so much more…
Until then, please put our monthly PTA meetings on your calendar. We encourage you to attend, meet fellow parents, and help shape the BA experience.
If you’d like to get more involved right away, we have immediate needs for a few key PTA roles. Specifically, we need an Auditor to help ensure we comply with expected financial norms. And we need a Room Parent Coordinator (or two, this is a great job to share with a friend) to act as a crucial link in the communication between our school and our families.
