Then you might have what it takes to be a B.A Crossing guard - and we NEED you! It’s not glamorous, (or fashionable) but it is critical to ensure we keep the intersection safe for our kids and parents. (It’s also important that the flow is efficient for those in cars making their way to school, or on to their destination.)
Over the years we had varying numbers of volunteers. Sometimes as many as 10, but right now we’re down to about 4. And unfortunately, the kids of all 4 volunteers will be moving on from BA next year, so at the end of this year, we will not have crossing guards in place for next year. Again, it’s a minimal time investment, but it’s really important.
