Your Donations at Work

All PTA contributions directly benefit Brittan Acres. In addition to funding the programs listed below, if we exceed our goal during the 2018-19 school year, we are planning a Library Refresh designed to modernize our library and to encourage your children to find the joy in reading.

“Easy Money” Fundraising Programs

Brittan Acres participates in several passive fundraising programs that require minimal effort in order to raise money for the PTA.  By participating in these reward programs, a percentage of your purchases will automatically be donated to the Brittan Acres PTA — at no cost to you!
Amazon Affiliates - Earn up to 6% on each purchase when you shop on Amazon. Bookmark and use the unique Brittan Acres link to make purchases at Amazon.
Shop Reading Bug - Reading Bug donates 5% of sales to the BA library when you mention Brittan Acres at checkout. 

Register with eScrip! Sign-up or sign-in and select “Brittan Acres Elementary” as the beneficiary to earn up to 5% on your purchases. You can choose up to 3 beneficiaries (BA, Central, etc.)

Shop Local Grocers:  Input credit, debit, and grocery cards (Bianchini’s, Lucky’s, Lunardi’s, Draeger’s, Mollie Stone’s and more).

Schoola - Donate your gently used, resalable women's and children's clothing, shoes, and accessories to Schoola for them to resell on their website at a discounted price. Once the item sells, Brittan Acres earns 40% back of the sales price! Outside of school-wide drive periods, you can still donate to support Brittan Acres by requesting a shipping label and bag to be mailed to you via Schoola’s website. Please bring donations to the bin outside the library.  
Join the Bruin Village! *Please note, the Bruin Village is closed for donations for 2018-2019, but if you want to join the PTA, it’s not too late! We encourage each family to join our PTA through a $20 annual membership.  Click here to join.
Launched in 2018, the Bruin Village fundraising campaign is for families who wish to donate to the PTA early and all at once so they don’t need to worry about fundraising for the Walk-A-Jog.
Our goal is to make things as easy as possible for our families. The Bruin Village consolidates PTA fundraising, making donating simpler for families and enabling our PTA to more effectively budget and plan programs based on funds raised early in the school year.
To join the Bruin Village, we are asking for a one-time PTA donation of $250 per student that will help us reach our overall goal and will give donor families many benefits including:
  • One-time donation for the school year allowing more efficient spending
  • No need for your child or family to collect pledges for Walk-a-Jog
  • Family PTA membership
  • Family recognition on our Bruin Village Roster that will be proudly displayed at all school community events


Walk-a-Jog - BA’s biggest community event of the year! *PAST EVENT*

Sunday, October 22, 2018, 10:00am-1:00pm
The Brittan Acres Walk-a-Jog (WAJ) is a fun, enjoyable and worthwhile event for the whole family! The students run, jog or walk around the BA blacktop, which provides a unique opportunity for the school community to gather while exercising, raising money, AND creating memories all at the same time. Join friends and families for a casual carnival with food and games. Students will get a Free T-Shirt upon registration. 
NEW! In the past, WAJ was the PTA’s primary fundraising event of the school year. To lessen the fundraising burden of pledge gathering and a sometimes overwhelming number of emails associated with WAJ fundraising, we have started the Bruin Village campaign for families that prefer to donate one time at the start of the school year. Although we have created our Bruin Village campaign, all families are welcome to pledge through Walk-A-Jog and raise more funds for BA.
